Simple Swaps, Real Conversations, and a Side of Income
If you had told me years ago that I’d be sharing about natural wellness products and mentoring others through it, I probably would’ve side-eyed you over my cup of tea.

I mean… I didn’t exactly plan on doing this. I just started using a few things from Young Living—swapped out some household cleaners, tried a supplement or two, added oils to my bedtime routine—and realized I felt better. Healthier.

More me.

So I kept ordering. Then I started telling people what I was using. Not to sell anything… just in a “this stuff is actually helping” kind of way.
And that’s really all sharing is.
No fancy business degree. No need to know every single ingredient in your toothpaste. You don’t even have to post about it if you don’t want to.
If you love the products, you’re already halfway there.

From Oils to Everything Else; personal care, supplements, household cleaning

From Oils to Everything Else

When most people think of Young Living, they think essential oils. And yes, I use them every day. But the truth? The oils are just the beginning.

Most of my monthly orders these days are packed with simple swaps—supplements, personal care products, household basics. Toothpaste without fluoride. Laundry soap without synthetic fragrance. Multivitamins that don’t make my stomach flip. And of course that red juice you have probably heard me talking about. All of it has added up over time to a healthier home that feels less toxic and more intentional.

It’s not about perfection—it’s about progress. And once I saw that, I couldn’t not share it... and the timing is prefect right now because more and more people looking for healthier alternatives to the products they've been using.

 Different People, Different Paths

Different People, Different Paths

There’s no one “right” way to share. That’s one of the things I love most about this.

When I first started, I led a few classes. They were fun, but sometimes I think I scare people off because I have been known to dive too deeply into the science of it all. Interesting? Yes.
Overwhelming? Also yes.

I’ve also done my share of vendor events over the years. They're fun and I enjoy the opportunity to see a lot of friends and meet a bunch of new people.

But what feels most natural to me? Writing blogs, having real conversations, and just weaving these products into the way I already talk about wellness and everyday life.

Other people share exclusively on social media. Some never touch social at all. I’ve seen busy young moms post stories while doing dishes and college students make TikToks between classes. Empty-nesters approach it differently than someone in the middle of a demanding job or caregiving season. Most people just adapt their approach depending on what life looks like that month.

Bottom line? There are so many ways to share, and they can be as individualized as we are.

Finding What Works... and sharing it

You Don’t Need to Know It All

You don’t need to memorize every product fact. You don’t need to wait until life feels perfectly balanced. And you definitely don’t need to know how to “do the business.”

You just need to authentically love the products—and want to help others. That’s it.

And you won’t be doing it alone. I’m here to help however I can—whether that’s brainstorming how to share in a way that feels comfortable for you, pointing you to helpful resources, or just cheering you on from the sidelines.

Hi! I'm AJ Flanagan.

Hey there! I’m a GenX empty-nester - and recent widow - who had a wake-up call about the hidden toxins in everyday products we used growing up. Our parents didn’t know, and honestly, we were clueless too. But now, I’m all about sharing the details and helping others kick those sneaky chemicals to the curb for a healthier, happier life. 🌿

Life threw us a curveball in 2018 when my amazing husband, Eric, was diagnosed with leukemia. And then a second type of cancer in 2023.  Supporting him through his treatments was challenging, but it also inspired us to make some positive changes. We embraced holistic wellness practices, worked to transform our home into a toxin-free sanctuary, and incorporated relaxation techniques like meditation, music therapy, and aromatherapy into our daily routine.

Caring for and supporting Eric deepened my commitment to living well. From choosing natural products and prioritizing nutritious foods to finding strength in vulnerability, we built a daily routine focused on positivity and wellness.

I’m passionate about sharing our story, the lessons we learned, and the simple steps we took to enhance our overall well-being.

Creating a Nurturing Space Together

We focused on creating a nurturing environment where both of us could thrive. It was a process of resilience, love, and continuous learning that I'm determined to carry forward from here. I’m eager to share our experiences, the lessons we picked up along the way, and the small changes that made a big difference in our lives. Whether you’re looking to make minor adjustments or dive into a complete wellness transformation, I hope our story can inspire and support you on your own path.

Here’s to embracing change, supporting each other, and living our best lives—together! ✨
